6) Ford Focus
The Focus was always targeted at younger drivers who would prefer a compact as their first car. The Focus was meant simply for getting around, rather than to make a statement of any sort. Despite this the car enjoyed much popularity from the very start. The third generation of the Focus compact sedan now retails in the US market starting at $18,175.
The standard Ford ecoboost gasoline engine with auto stop/start and a 6 speed manual transmission is a familiar feature of the vehicle. Another engine variant is the 2.0 litre Ti-VCT direct-injection motor, which can be had as an option.
The Focus sedan misses some of the cargo space of the hatch variant. Interior comforts include a six speaker audio system with mp3 compatibility, heated front seats, an ergonomic central console, and a power outlet in the rear. The car is also packed with all the updated safety features including multi stage airbags and side impact protection.
