6) Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
Bugatti built the Veyron with one simple concept; lots and lots of pure power. Coming from a long line of high-powered supercars, the Super Sport got the most powerful engine of any production car in the world. The Veyron 16.4 Super Sport packs a massive 8.0 litre W16 quad turbocharged 1,200 bhp engine. This powerhouse is essentially comprised of two highly souped-up V8 engines bolted together.
In addition to boasting a record breaking top speed of 258 mph, the car has impressive acceleration. The Super Sport goes from 0 to 60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds, which is impressive even when compared with most other supercars. The Veyron achieves this by using a computer-controlled automatic seven speed gearbox.
Despite the technological gadgetry the Super Sport has a remarkable simplicity to it. The car remains highly customizable for buyers on the inside and out. The price tag: US $2.5 million.
